Maya has been fascinated with beauty care ever since she was a teenager. She started her career as an esthetician in 2008 with the major national beauty company EBM Skincare studios. In 2013 she became a store manager in one of the Tokyo salons. At the end of her 7th year she decided to take a break, to broaden her knowledge and refine her skills - studying Beauty therapy in Australia. While studying she worked at several hotel spas and local beauty salons.

This eventually led her to a small Japanese Beauty salon in Sydney. Where she found her home and in the following years she became Head therapist, Salon manager and now Owner.

• 2017 - Diploma of Beauty therapy
  (Sydney Beauty & Dermal Institute)
